Ana & Pete’s Wedding Day at the Belsfield Hotel, Lake District  - Wedding Bouquet Preservation UK

Ana and Pete's love story began in 2014 while they were both studying at university. A few months into their relationship, Pete baked Ana a birthday cake, trying out several versions until he found the perfect recipe. He went above and beyond to make her feel special, and that was when she realised he was the one for her.

As they planned their wedding, Ana and Pete cherished the idea of creating a day that was uniquely their own. From the invitations to the favours, they poured their hearts into every detail. They wanted their special day to be shared only with the people they loved, ensuring that everyone felt appreciated and surrounded by love.

They exchanged their vows at The Belsfield Hotel in the stunning Lake District in June 2024. This beautiful location held a special place in their hearts, as it was one of the first places they explored together in the UK. With its panoramic views of Windermere Lake, the hotel provided a picturesque backdrop for their special day. They were lucky to be blessed with a beautiful, sunny, and warm day, which only added to the magic of the occasion.

For flowers, they chose Brackens of Bowness, a local florist highly recommended by the hotel. Ana was inspired by their gorgeous arrangements after seeing them on Instagram. She envisioned a palette of vibrant, summery colours, featuring her favourite blooms—hydrangeas and peonies. The florist offered wonderful suggestions to complement Ana's choices and created a stunning floral display.

The moment Ana looked forward to the most was walking down the aisle with Pete, a special milestone in their journey together. Their favourite part of the day was their first look, a moment filled with genuine emotion and love. As the sun set, they felt pure joy, surrounded by friends and family who shared in their happiness.

Ana and Pete advise future couples to embrace personal touches in their wedding planning. Their guests adored the handmade elements and the heartfelt touches that made the day truly special.

Ana wanted to preserve her bouquet as a keepsake from their unforgettable day. After exploring various suppliers, she discovered Pressed Meadow and instantly fell in love with their beautiful floral frames. She posted her gorgeous blooms after the wedding for pressing, and a few months later she received her special artwork. Now, Ana and Pete plan to display their framed bouquet next to the front door of their home, a daily reminder of their love and the wonderful day they shared.
